The Desert Plant Society of Vancouver is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation of desert plants in our community. Founded in September of 1968, The Desert Plant Club has been dedicated to the appreciation and of desert plants. 

In 1979 the club registered as a society with the British Columbia Council of Garden Clubs and changed the name to Desert Plant Society of Vancouver.

We host events, workshops, and field trips to explore and learn about cacti, succulents, and other desert plants. Our members are passionate about the beauty and diversity of desert plants, and we strive to share our knowledge and enthusiasm with others.
